Your new company
An established contractor operating across the water and wastewater sector is seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee maintenance contracts and project installations throughout Northern Ireland.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced Industrial Electrician or Industrial Fitter looking to step into a supervisory position, leading site teams, coordinating works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Working across both planned maintenance and capital projects, you'll play a key role in keeping essential infrastructure operational while supporting the successful delivery of ongoing contracts.
Your new role
- Supervise site installation teams across maintenance and project works.
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities, ensuring programmes and deadlines are achieved.
- Plan works and compile material requirements.
- Liaise with procurement and project teams to ensure materials are available when required.
- Monitor quality, safety and productivity on site.
- Ensure completed works are recorded accurately and communicated back to the office.
- Report site issues, risks and progress to project management.
- Support commissioning activities through to final client sign-off.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all works is completed in line with company procedures and health & safety standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential
- Industrial Electrician or Industrial Fitter background.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within an industrial environment.
- Experience working with motors, control panels and industrial electrical systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of site activities.
Desirable
- Time-served electrical qualification.
- 18th Edition certification.
- Experience with instrumentation, automation or control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Previous installation, maintenance and fault-finding experience.
- CSR Card.
- JIB or Sparksafe registration.
- Good IT and reporting skills.
