MACHINE OPERATOR JOBS AVAILABLE - TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE)

Are you an experienced Machine Operator, Production Technician, Machine Setter Operator, Manufacturing Technician, Technical Operator, Process Operator, Conversion Operator, Rewind Operator, Core Rewinder, Skilled Machine Operator, Machine Setter or Skilled Machinist looking for stability in your next job role, and are you happy working 4 on 4 off shifts (rotating days and nights)?

We are proud to be working with a long-standing manufacturer in Telford (Shropshire) who are looking for 6 Machine Operators to join them on a straight permanent basis, the starting salary for these roles will range between £35,000 - £36,300 per annum and the working hours are 6am-6pm / 6pm - 6am (4 on 4 off shifts rotating days and nights).

We are looking for people who live within a 25 mile radius of Telford (Shropshire), and the hiring manager is looking for people who have a minimum of 3 years experience within the FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Food Packaging, Packaging, Pharmaceutical or Print sector.

Your Role: As a core member of the production team, you will ensure our high-speed machinery operates at peak efficiency. You will:

• Set up and operate high-speed machinery with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Maintain quality standards by conducting regular checks and keeping precise production records.
• Collaborate with the wider team to exceed daily production targets.

What You Bring:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar role (e.g., Machine Operator, Machine Setter Operator, Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Technical Operator, Rewind Operator, or Machine Setter).
• Industry Knowledge: Experience within the FMCG, Packaging, Food Manufacturing, Print, or Pharmaceutical sectors is required.
• Technical Aptitude: Confidence in making minor machine adjustments and performing routine maintenance.
• Reliability: You live within a 25-mile radius of Telford and are looking for a long-term career move.
