Machine Operator

Job description

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client based in Witham, on a temporary to permanent basis.

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy production environment. Previous machine operating experience is essential, although this does not need to have been gained within the food industry.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Monitoring machine performance and reporting any issues
• Checking weight accuracy throughout production
• Checking sealing films and ensuring products are correctly sealed
• Checking date codes and product information
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Following production procedures and company standards
• Adhering to strict HACCP and food safety standards
• Working closely with the wider production team to maintain smooth production

Experience

• Previous machine operating experience is essential
• Experience within food production is beneficial but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
• Good understanding of health, safety and hygiene procedures

Hours

Two shift patterns available:

• 6:00am – 3:00pm
• 3:00pm – Midnight

Monday to Friday
