Swadlincote, Derbyshire (Commutable from: Burton-on-Trent, Derby, Coalville, Lichfield, Tamworth and Ashby-de-la-Zouch)

Are you an experienced CNC Miller, Turner or Programmer with supervisory experience looking to join a well-established manufacturer offering a highly autonomous role, excellent earning potential and opportunities for further progression?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role within a specialist machine shop, overseeing manufacturing processes whilst remaining hands-on with CNC programming and machining, with additional overtime available to maximise your earnings.

This well-established company specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke machinery and material handling equipment for the Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their Engineering team.

In this Monday - Friday, days-based role, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team within a dedicated machine shop, organising workloads and ensuring production deadlines are achieved. You will also be hands-on, programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision components.

This role would suit an experienced CNC Miller, Turner, Programmer or Team Leader looking to take ownership of a specialist workshop, with autonomy, technical variety and opportunities for further development.

The Role:

• Monday - Friday, days-based position (40 hours per week).
• Oversee the daily operations of a dedicated CNC machine shop.
• Hands-on programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines and lathes.

The Candidate:

• CNC Miller / Turner / Programmer / Machinist.
• Supervisory, Team Leader or Senior Machinist experience.
• Experience programming CNC milling machines and/or lathes.
• Commutable to Swadlincote, Derbyshire.
