Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

We’re working with a well-established, UK-based manufacturing business operating at the forefront of high-performance materials. Due to a gap opening up, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance engineer who loves getting involved with projects, getting stuck into breakdowns, solving problems and driving improvements. If this sounds like you please apply quickly as this role won’t be around for long. 

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• £45,000 - £48,000 
• Premium OT (x1.5 / x2). 
• Company Pension. 
• Health Cash Plan 
• 23 Days holiday + BH. (rising with service) 
• Company Sick Pay. 

Maintenance Engineer Duties: 

• Double days (6-2 / 2-10) and one night shift every 5th week (3 nights). 
• Reduction of downtime of electrical control systems. 
• Use electrical experience to strengthen engineering team. 
• Updating CMMS. 
• Responding to breakdowns. 
• Planned and routine maintenance. 
• TPM and CI work. 

Maintenance Engineer Requirements: 

• Apprentice trained. 
• Must have electrical qualifications. 
• Ability to read electrical drawings. 
• Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities. 
• Wiring regs (advantageous). 
• Manufacturing maintenance experience. 
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
