Job Description:
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same.
You'll be keeping production lines running by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance, quickly fixing breakdowns, and making sure equipment is safe, reliable, and running at its best.
This is a true multi-skilled role, working with electrical and mechanical systems including control panels, motors, sensors, inverter drives, and pneumatic equipment.
What you'll be doing:
- Responding to machine breakdowns and getting production back up and running quickly
- Carrying out planned maintenance to prevent issues before they happen
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Working safely in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Recording work completed and supporting continuous improvement
- Working closely with production teams to solve problems on the shop floor
What we're looking for:
- Electrical qualification (Level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding skills (electrical + mechanical ideal)
- Experience with control panels, drives, and pneumatics
- Confident working shifts, including nights (4 on / 4 off pattern)
- Someone practical, proactive, and calm under pressure
