Maintenance Fitter

Would you be competent maintaining automated production line machinery in a Heavy Engineering environment (Large machinery)

Shift choices available:

Option 1:

• Monday to Friday days - 9am to 5:30pm - some flex around start times example 7am to 3:30pm
• Pay: £20.84 p/h + 26% shift premium £26.65 p/h 42hr week = £58,203 per annum + OT available.
• Role involves shift cover - covering shift engineers holidays/sickness working DAYS only 4on 4off 6am to 6pm. (approx. cover up to 12 shifts)
• Holidays and Benefits: 21 days + 8 bank holidays, Life assurance, pension, private heal, attendance bonus, free parking

Option 2

• Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Friday 6am to 4pm
• Pay: £45,800 + OT available
• Holidays and Benefits Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays, Holidays: 25 days, Generous pension, Life assurance, onsite parking, enhanced parental leave.

Location: Near Mountsorrel - Leicester

Environment: Manufacturing - Production line machinery maintenance.

Overview:

Working on large production line machinery we now require a Maintenance Fitter to join the Maintenance team.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Fitter role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Fitter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
• Experience working with hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, seal changes, pneumatic systems, welding, conveyors, chains, drive belts etc.

Commutable from:

Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, Rothley, Leicester and surrounding areas.
