This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional who is passionate about storytelling, employee engagement and building strong brands to join a successful, family-owned organisation operating within the logistics and industrial sector.

Working closely with the Group Head of Marketing, you will play a key role in delivering engaging internal and external communications, strengthening the company's brand and reputation, and bringing its culture and values to life across the business.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining content creation, communications, social media, PR, events and community engagement, offering plenty of scope to make a visible impact.

The Role
As Marketing & Communications Executive, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and delivering internal and external communication plans aligned with business objectives and company culture.
  • Creating engaging content across social media, websites, newsletters, digital screens, presentations, publications and marketing materials.
  • Working with teams across the business to identify and promote success stories, customer case studies, projects and company updates.
  • Planning and delivering internal campaigns covering wellbeing, safety, business updates and employee engagement.
  • Managing digital communication channels and ensuring content remains engaging, relevant and consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Developing social media content plans and campaigns to increase brand awareness and strengthen employer branding.
  • Supporting PR activity, including press releases, award submissions, media opportunities and stakeholder communications.
  • Promoting the organisation's CSR, charity, community and employee volunteering initiatives.
  • Supporting internal and external events, exhibitions and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Monitoring campaign and communications performance using analytics and audience insights.
  • Managing relationships with external agencies, suppliers and partners.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider Marketing team to successfully deliver campaigns, content and events.
About You
We're looking for a confident and creative communications professional who can combine strong writing skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
You will ideally bring:
  • Previous experience within marketing, communications, PR or a similar role.
  • Excellent written communication and content creation skills.
  • Experience managing social media and digital content.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A creative approach to storytelling and employee engagement.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across different levels of a business.
  • Experience supporting campaigns, events, PR or community engagement activities.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
What's on Offer
Alongside the opportunity to join a successful and well-established organisation, you'll benefit from:
  • Company pension
  • Health cash plan and employee discounts
  • Holiday scheme
  • On-site gym
  • Free fitness classes
  • Free parking
  • Health & wellbeing programmes
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee referral programme
  • Company events
If you're an experienced Marketing & Communications professional looking for your next opportunity and want to join an organisation where your work can have a genuine impact across the business and wider community, we'd love to hear from you.
