Marketing Executive

My client, a highly regarded specialist financial services business based in Taunton, is recruiting for a full-time Marketing Executive, offering a salary of up to £40,000. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering marketing activity and event coordination across a successful and growing organisation.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and directors, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of campaigns, events, digital marketing and content creation, helping to drive brand awareness and engagement across a well-established and respected business.

This role would suit a Marketing Executive who enjoys autonomy, thrives on bringing new ideas to life and wants to see the direct impact of their work. You'll be trusted to take ownership of projects, influence decisions and contribute to the ongoing development of marketing activity across the business.

The Role

Working closely with directors and key stakeholders, you'll take ownership of marketing activity across multiple channels while managing a Junior Marketer who will support you with delivery.

You'll play a key role in developing and delivering marketing initiatives that support brand awareness, client engagement and wider business growth, including:

• Creating engaging marketing and promotional content
• Developing and delivering tailored marketing campaigns
• Managing digital and social media activity
• Producing website content and keeping messaging fresh and relevant
• Monitoring industry trends and identifying new opportunities to strengthen the brand
• Bringing fresh ideas and initiatives that support wider business objectives
• Coordinating and promoting a busy programme of events throughout the year, ensuring campaigns generate engagement before, during and after each event

This is a varied and hands-on position where you'll have the opportunity to make your mark, working closely with decision-makers and helping to shape how marketing supports the wider business.

What You'll Need

• Previous experience in a Marketing Executive or similar marketing position
• Experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels
• Strong content creation and communication skills
• Event marketing or event coordination experience would be highly advantageous
• The confidence to manage your own workload, bring forward ideas and build strong relationships across the business
