This Materials Planner job is based in Loughborough, the key purpose of the Materials Planner job is to ensure the timely planning and supply of materials to support production schedules, customer requirements, and project demands. You will play a critical role in coordinating material availability, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining accurate planning data to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.

The Materials Planner will work closely with Production, Procurement, Projects, Logistics, and Suppliers to ensure demand requirements are clearly communicated, and material supply is aligned with build schedules. You will maintain ERP system data, manage MRP outputs, monitor supplier performance, and create clear-to-build reports highlighting risks, constraints, and recovery actions.

To be considered for this Materials Planner job, you should have previous experience within materials planning, production planning, procurement, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment. You will have experience working with ERP/MRP systems, Bills of Materials (BOMs), supplier management, and inventory planning. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach are essential.
