Job Description:

• Start date: 24th August 2026
• End date: December 2026
• Full-time role
• Teaching KS3 & KS4 Maths

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher. This is a full-time job to start next academic year to provide long-term cover for the first term initially. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Job Description

• Delivering engaging and creative Maths lessons.
• Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
• Strong behaviour/classroom management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
