What You'll Bring

You will be someone who:

• Inspires students through engaging, well-planned lessons that make mathematics accessible and enjoyable.
• Has the ability to teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Uses assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment.
• Creates a positive classroom culture where students are encouraged to think critically, persevere, and develop confidence in their mathematical ability.
• Has high expectations of behaviour, effort, and achievement.
• Works effectively as part of a team and is keen to contribute to the continued success of the department.

The Role

As a member of our Mathematics department, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the sharing of effective teaching practice.
• Support intervention programmes and enrichment opportunities that promote a love of mathematics.
• Engage fully with the wider life of the school, including parents' evenings, departmental initiatives, and whole-school priorities.
