Job Title: Mechanical / HVAC Engineer

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £46,500 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical / HVAC Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering team at a large, premium site in Nottingham.

The Role

As a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across mechanical and HVAC systems.

• Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns.

• Maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs.

• Ensuring all plant and equipment operates safely and efficiently.

• Completing maintenance records and relevant compliance documentation.

• Supporting continuous improvement across the site.

• Working alongside the wider engineering and facilities team.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer, HVAC Engineer or Building Services Engineer.

• Strong knowledge of heating and ventilation systems.

• Experience within commercial or large-scale facilities environments.

• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Relevant mechanical or HVAC qualifications would be advantageous.
