Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Wanted - Immediate Start!

Leicester | £35K+

Permanent, Full-Time

Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, working with CNC multi-axis machines?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading precision engineering company based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing organisation, ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of CNC and specialist machinery.

Qualifications

Essential:

• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Engineering environment which includes experience of fault finding and repairing CNC multi-axis machines
• Conversant with Fanuc & Siemens controls

Desirable:

• Experience and knowledge of present and emerging technology, up to date knowledge of equipment and techniques  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical maintenance to a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery
• Mechanical repairs to gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drive chains, pumps and tanks
• Manage and resolve reactive breakdown repairs, reducing machine downtimes to a minimum
• As required carry our major refurbishment of plant, equipment and machinery
• Carry out PPM
• PLC fault finding and interrogation

Requirements

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will also be expected to:

• Work across all company sites in Leicester
