Coach / Mentor

•              Build trusted relationships that motivate young people to achieve their goals.

•              Manage a caseload and create clear, achievable action plans.

•              Provide one-to-one coaching.

•              Help participants prepare for interviews and transition successfully into work.

•              Work with employers to identify suitable opportunities.

•              Provide ongoing in-work coaching to help participants settle and develop.

•              Work with Employers, training providers and other local partners.

•              Keep accurate records

Key Skills & Experience

Candidates that have experience in coaching, mentoring, employment, recruitment, resourcing, youth work, education, training or a similar type of support role then you will have in this job.

•              Connect easily with people and build trust.

•              Inspire confidence while also encouraging accountability.

•              Understand and overcome barriers to employment.

•              Manage a caseload, meet targets and stay organised.

•              Communicate confidently with participants, employers and partners.

•              Work independently while being a strong team player.

•              Use digital systems confidently and maintain accurate records.

•              Understand the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and equality.
