MET Technician

Job description

Our established accident repair Bodyshop in Leicester is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our busy team. This MET Technician position offers a competitive hourly rate of £18.00–£23.00, depending on experience and skill, alongside flexible working times and additional earning potential.

Duties:

• As an MET Technician, carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles.
• Strip and refit vehicle components efficiently during the repair process.
• Remove and replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Work closely with Panel Beaters and Paint Technicians to ensure repairs progress efficiently.
• Identify and report any additional faults or issues.
• Complete all work safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous professional Bodyshop experience as an MET Technician is essential.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and trim repairs.
• Proven ability to strip and refit vehicle components.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, professional and positive approach.
