Mobile Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – £40k DOE
Monday–Friday | No weekends | Crewe + North West
Fed up of the same workshop every day? Want independence, variety and your weekends back? My client is an established vehicle repair business in Crewe who are looking for an experienced mechanic who can think on their feet and take pride in doing a job properly.
What you’ll be doing as a Mobile Mechanic
Servicing & repairing cars and light commercials
Mobile jobs across the North West (Manchester, Warrington, Bury, Stafford)
Diagnostics, fault‑finding, sensible decisions on site
MOT runs, collecting/returning vehicles
WhatsApp job updates (photos, mileage, advisories)
Keeping your van tidy, stocked and ready to roll
What you get as a Mobile Mechanic
Up to £40,000 basic DOE
Monday–Friday, 8–5
No routine weekends
Company van + fuel card
Tools & equipment provided
25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
Overtime available (paid or TOIL)
Who we’re looking for from a Mobile Mechanic
Strong hands‑on experience
Confident with diagnostics
Level 3 motor vehicle qualification or equivalent technical competence
Independent, reliable, customer‑focused
Full UK driving licence
Age 25+ (insurance requirement)
Where you’ll be based
Crewe workshop + mobile work across the North West.
You travel to Crewe as your normal commute, then the van is yours for authorised business use during the day.
This role would suit
Experienced Vehicle Technicians, Motor Mechanics, Mobile Mechanics, Light Vehicle Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, Service Technicians, Senior Technicians or MOT Technicians with strong repair experience.
