Multi Skilled Engineer – FMCG

Location: Gainsborough

Salary: £48,300 + Pension + Life Assurance 

Shift Pattern

Wk 1 Monday/Tues Days - Off Wednesday - Thursday/Friday Nights.

Wk 2: Weds-Friday Days.

wk 3: Mon-Weds nights.

Then off until Monday to start week

Benefiting from recent investment on new state of the art production lines, this will in turn aid the further expansion of this already rapidly growing organisation, which employs over 4,000 people, with over 25 production facilities worldwide.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
• Understanding of PPM systems

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with electrical bias and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked on PLC systems, it would be advantageous. Also, able, and willing to work on printing presses, extrusion machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
