Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Direct reports: None
Working Hours: Continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) working 12 hour shifts. This will rotate between days (06:30-18:30) and nights (18:30-6:30) each block (average of 42 hours per week). Main Accountability
As a technician you will be a technical expert, utilising you specialist engineering knowledge within your field. To be responsible for your respective area, as well as other areas whenever manning and/or skills are required for you to do so. You will ensure the smooth running and maintenance of all manufacturing assets, whilst delivering optimum plant reliability through preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Providing support to the autonomous maintenance team to help grow and develop our capability.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent time served Engineering apprenticeship with proven hands on experience
Recognised Electrical / Mechanical academic qualification ,preferably Electrical
Advanced Electro-Mechanical aptitude
Electrical Testing & Inspecting - City & Guilds 2391 holder would be an advantage
IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification is desirable
Understanding of SCADA control systems, computer systems, networking
Working knowledge of PLC systems - Allen Bradley and/or Siemens an advantage
Working knowledge of CMMS and SCADA systems and associated applications
Good manufacturing practices
