Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £55,000+ per annum
Hours: Panama Shift Pattern (2-2-3) | 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am
  
iSQ Recruitment is working with a leading UK food manufacturer to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a highly automated production facility in Leicestershire.

You'll be working on modern production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities while contributing to continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Support continuous improvement projects
• Identify root causes of equipment failures
• Maintain production machinery and processing equipment
• Complete maintenance records and documentation
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
• Support engineering apprentices and team development

Key Criteria

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 Engineering qualification
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Multi-skilled maintenance engineer within a production or manufacturing environment
• Food manufacturing experience is essential
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience working with single and three-phase systems
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• PLC fault-finding experience desirable
• 17th/18th Edition desirable
