Night Transport Administration Assistant
Desborough, NN14
£14.00 Per Hour

We are looking for an organised individual to support teams within  a busy transport office.

You will be responsible for debriefing drivers run sheets to the Transport Management System, answering emails both from internal and external contacts, creating reports for customers and dealing with delivery queries.

Liaising with the customer service team you will ensure they have accurate and up to date information, as well as manifesting orders, keeping a steady flow of work to the warehouse.
 
Days & Hours of Work
4 on 4 off Shift patter – 18:00pm – 06:00pm
 
The Role

• Debriefing drivers run sheets onto the transport Management System (TMS)
• Answering emails from both internal and external personnel
• Creating daily/weekly/monthly reports for each customer
• Dealing with customer delivery queries
• Liasing with the Customer Service Team to ensure they have the correct information
• Manifesting orders in the Transport Management System to keep a steady flow of work for the warehouse team
• Liaising with sub-contractors with regards to delivery times and proof of deliveries

 
About You

• Experience within a transport environment is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in a busy and demanding environment
• Excellent It skills with a good understanding of MS Office applications
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Able to work to tight deadlines and manage own time effectively
