Nursing Home Manager | Romford

£70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus Scheme

Full-Time | Permanent

JCO Healthcare is supporting a respected, values-led care provider in the search for an experienced Home Manager to lead a well-established good rated 52-bed nursing home for older people in Romford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven nursing home leader to take responsibility for an established service with a strong reputation, while playing a key role within a growing care organisation.

The Opportunity

As Home Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the operational performance, quality, compliance, occupancy, and financial management of the service.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care whilst maintaining excellent regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the service
• Maintain regulatory compliance and drive quality improvement initiatives
• Lead, motivate and develop the management and care teams
• Oversee safeguarding, care planning and risk management processes
• Manage budgets, occupancy and commercial performance
• Lead internal audits and preparation for external inspections
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners and healthcare professionals
• Promote a culture focused on quality, dignity and resident wellbeing
• Deliver continuous improvement and outstanding care outcomes

About You

• Experienced Home Manager within a nursing home environment
• Proven track record of successfully leading CQC-regulated services
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, safeguarding and quality assurance
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and occupancy
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or equivalent
• Passionate about delivering exceptional resident care

Please note: A nursing qualification is not essential; however, previous nursing home management experience is required.
