Manchester | Up to £35,000 DOE | Permanent

We're recruiting an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator to join a successful, privately owned freight forwarding business in Manchester.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants ownership, variety and genuine career progression within a supportive and growing team.

The Role

You'll manage ocean import shipments from start to finish, including:

1. • FCL & LCL shipments
   • Booking with shipping lines and overseas agents
   • Shipping documentation and customs/CDS
   • Customer, haulier and agent liaison
   • Shipment tracking and proactive customer updates
   • Costing, invoicing and resolving operational issues
   • Building strong customer relationships

About You

You'll have:

1. • Proven Ocean Import / freight forwarding experience
   • FCL & LCL knowledge
   • Customs/CDS experience
   • Excellent customer service and communication skills
   • Strong organisation and attention to detail
   • The ability to manage multiple shipments in a busy environment
   • CargoWise experience is advantageous
