Operations Manager – Nights – WorthingTop Tier Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join a busy Planning Team on a 6-month temporary contract.
Location: Worthing, West Sussex – BN13
Salary: £50,000 per annum, pro rata
Contract: 6-month temporary
Shift: 4 on / 4 off
Hours: 12-hour night shifts
You will be responsible for overseeing night-time operations, supporting the planning team and ensuring the operation runs smoothly throughout your shift.
Key responsibilities include managing operational issues through to completion, coordinating drivers and planners, maintaining service levels, keeping customers and stakeholders updated, and ensuring accurate reporting and handovers.
You will also support and manage the night team, addressing performance where required and creating a culture of accountability, ownership and teamwork.
What We're Looking ForPrevious operations, transport or planning management experience
Strong planning and decision-making skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Confident communication and people-management skills
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution
Experience working with drivers, planners, customers and subcontractors would be highly beneficial
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transport, Planning or Operations Manager looking for a well-paid night position.
