We're recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturing business that's investing in its future and expanding its sales team. They're looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to help drive growth, generate new opportunities, and build lasting relationships with customers across the UK.

This isn't an account management role.

This is about finding opportunities, creating relationships, and winning business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Proactively identifying and engaging potential new customers
• Making outbound calls to introduce products and services
• Building relationships with key decision-makers across a variety of industries
• Generating qualified sales opportunities and developing them into long-term business
• Understanding customer challenges and presenting tailored solutions
• Managing a healthy sales pipeline and following opportunities through to conversion
• Recording activity and maintaining accurate CRM records
• Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure an excellent customer experience from first contact through to order

What We're Looking For

You'll be confident, resilient, commercially minded, and genuinely enjoy new business development.

You'll also have:

• Proven experience in outbound sales, telesales, business development, recruitment, field sales, or another target-driven sales role
• A successful track record of cold calling and generating new business opportunities
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence speaking with decision-makers and overcoming objections
• A resilient mindset and positive attitude
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
• A full UK driving licence
