📦 Light Parcel Sorter – Hinckley

Location: Hinckley
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Light Parcel Sorter to join our team in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring parcels are handled, scanned, sorted, and processed efficiently to support smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting light parcels accurately and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading parcels safely.
• Scanning parcels using warehouse scanning equipment.
• Ensuring parcels are processed correctly and directed to the appropriate locations.
• Following health and safety procedures and safe manual handling practices.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months' warehouse experience.
• Previous parcel scanning experience is essential.
• Basic understanding of material handling techniques.
• Ability to handle parcels safely and follow manual handling procedures.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when scanning and sorting.
• A reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
