Part-Time Asbestos Surveyor

Job description

Salary to £40,000 pro rata

Because Life Doesn’t Always Fit a 5-Day Week

Experienced Asbestos Surveyor – Work 2, 3, 4… or 5 Days

Based in Devon? Want more control over when you work?

Not everyone wants a five-day working week — and that’s absolutely fine by us.

We offer genuine flexibility for experienced Asbestos Surveyors across Devon, who want real control over their time. Choose a working pattern that suits your life, with properly planned workloads, local jobs wherever possible and less unnecessary travel across the county.

You’ll be part of a team that understands surveyors have lives outside of asbestos and that a good work-life balance shouldn't mean compromising on your career.

Benefits – These are highlights, not the full list — there’s more where this came from.

Tech that keeps up with you

Through our Techscheme, you get support buying the latest phones, tablets or laptops - because asbestos surveying in 2026 shouldn’t feel like 2009.

More time off, if you want it

Need extra days for travel, family or just switching off? You can buy additional holiday, because rest isn’t a luxury — it’s essential.

Healthcare that actually pays you back

Our healthcare cash plan gives you money back for things you genuinely use — optical, dental and a range of therapies. No jumping through hoops, no tiny print surprises.

A pension that goes beyond the bare minimum

We offer a better-than-statutory pension, because future you, deserves a bit of looking after too.

Life insurance included

Peace of mind for you and your family, just in case life throws a curveball.

Training that doesn’t stop

Continuous training, funded development and support to keep your skills sharp and your career moving forward — not just ticking competency boxes.

In short - we invest in our surveyors because good people stay where they’re valued.

If you're an experienced Asbestos Surveyor living in Devon and you're looking for a role that gives you more choice over your working week, we'd love to hear from you.
