Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 6:45am–5:00pm
Hourly Rate: £13.25 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused PCB Assembler to join our client's growing production team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist manufacturing environment, helping to produce high-quality, bespoke lighting solutions for luxury, residential and specialist sectors.
This is a hands-on role where precision and craftsmanship matter. You’ll be working with PCBs, carrying out fine soldering, assembling components, and ensuring every product meets high quality standards. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a quality-driven team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components to the required specification.
- Carry out fine soldering and component assembly to a consistently high standard.
- Read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions and production specifications.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality and customer requirements.
- Identify and report any defects, discrepancies or quality issues during the production process.
- Ensure components are correctly positioned, soldered and assembled.
- Work carefully and accurately when handling small and delicate components.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
- Follow company production, quality, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and agreed deadlines.
- Support the wider production team when required.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties associated with the role.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- No qualifications required however previous experience in PCB assembly and soldering is essential.
- Experience working with small electronic components and carrying out fine, detailed assembly work.
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions.
- A strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
- A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
- The ability to work to production deadlines without compromising quality.
- Pride in producing work to a consistently high standard.
