PDI Technician role for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Technician / Mechanic, working within a busy aftersales team carrying out Pre Delivery Inspections, basic maintenance, and vehicle preparation work to ensure fleet and customer vehicles are safe, compliant, and ready for handover. Pay / salary: Up to £33,038 basic per annum, OTE £36,000 based on time saved and team profit
Job type: Permanent / full-time role
Shift and schedule: 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis

Skills and experience- Recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification, such as IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Technician / Mechanic, ideally with exposure to PDIs and basic service work.
Job responsibilities for the PDI Technician role- Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on fleet and customer vehicles to ensure they are prepared to the required standard.
- Complete basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil and filter changes, as part of the preparation process.
- Ensure every vehicle worked on is safe, compliant, and ready for customer delivery.
- Complete accurate digital write-ups, job cards, and workshop records using iPads and internal systems.
- Follow workshop processes and procedures to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Work closely with the wider aftersales team to support smooth vehicle handover and workshop productivity.
