JOB VACANCY – PICKER / PACKER / FINISHER   Location: Alcester Pay: £12.71 per hour (£14.24 with rolled up holiday) Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–3:30pm | Friday 9:00am–1:00pm Part-time initially, with the potential to become full-time We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical person to join our warehouse/production team. The role will involve picking, finishing, checking and packing customer orders, making sure everything is accurate, completed to a high standard and ready for dispatch.   Key Responsibilities   Picking products accurately against customer orders Checking products for quality, damage and accuracy Packing and labelling customer orders Preparing boxes and pallets for collection Receiving and checking deliveries Putting stock away in the correct locations Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock takes Preparing packaging and packing materials Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised Supporting other group companies with packing and despatch when required Following company health & safety and quality procedures   Important – Physical Requirements   This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting. You will regularly be required to lift and move items weighing 20kg+ throughout the working day. Applicants must be physically capable of carrying out heavy lifting safely and be comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment.   About You   We’re looking for someone who is: Reliable, punctual and hardworking Organised with good attention to detail Practical and willing to get involved Able to work independently and as part of a team Able to follow instructions and procedures Flexible and willing to support other areas when required Physically capable of the requirements of the role Someone who takes pride in their work Previous warehouse, picking, packing, production or finishing experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.   Forklift licence: Advantageous but not essential — training can be provided.   HOW TO APPLY   Interested in the role?
