HVAC Improver Engineer / Pool Ventilation Improver Engineer

Location: Site based Office: Nottingham

Salary: £18,000 - £28,000 (Dependent on experience) + Benefits & Performance Bonus

Hours: Typically 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday (No On-Call)

This is a niche trade – offering the correct candidate a rare opportunity to learn a job within the swimming pool HVAC sector.

Training will be provided, but experience within a field relative to electrics/HVAC etc is desirable.

We are currently seeking an engineer improver role in heating, refrigeration ventilation engineer to join our team in Nottingham.

This role is site-based, with visits to our Nottingham office/workshop often prior to jobs to collect parts & discuss works.

The job role is mainly specific to swimming pool ventilation and dehumidification but requires knowledge of electrical fault finding and air conditioning. Our customers range from private indoor & outdoor swimming pools to leisure centres, hotels, hydrotherapy pools.

All training will be given on the specialist swimming pool ventilation equipment.

Duties will include (Assisting & learning from qualified engineer):

• Diagnose & identify faults with equipment and systems and where possible provide a first time fix response
• Replacing faulty parts such as compressors and fan motors
• Undertake servicing and maintenance works
• Complete work report sheets after each visited job to report diagnosed faults, parts required etc (via provided iPad)
• Reading and understanding technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Understanding of calibration controls

The ideal candidate will have a positive and professional attitude, with a drive to learning a life-long trade from excellent engineers to become an independent HVAC engineer within our company.

Desireable:

• FGAS qualification
• NVQ refrigeration and air conditioning (Or equivalent)
• Drivers license

Our office is based in Lenton, Nottingham - applicant must be able to meet in our workshop often prior to jobs, usually to collect parts/meet with other engineers to discuss tasks.
