Primary Learning Mentor – Trafford
Help children build confidence, overcome barriers and thrive at school.

Cover People are looking for a caring and proactive Learning Mentor to support pupils in a primary school in Trafford.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and helping children develop the emotional, social and practical skills they need to engage in learning.

Your role will include:

Providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils who need additional guidance.
Supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence and positive behaviour.
Helping children engage with classroom activities and develop independence.
Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide consistent support.

✅ Have experience working with children in education, youth work, mentoring or a similar setting.
✅ Bring a calm, patient approach and can build trust with pupils.
✅ Understand the challenges faced by children with SEND or social, emotional and mental health needs.
✅ Are committed to safeguarding and creating an inclusive environment.
