Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor based in Corby for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the Private Client Solicitor role 

Salary: £55,000 per annum
Location: Corby
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: full-time Monday to Friday

Responsibilities of the Private Client Solicitor

• Manage your own varied caseload, providing expert legal advice and support across all aspects of private client work.
• Advise clients on the preparation of wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), trusts, estate administration, and inheritance tax planning.
• Handle probate matters with empathy, precision, and professionalism.
• Offer tailored advice on succession and wealth management, ensuring clients’ affairs are structured effectively for future generations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and clear communication.
• Support the continued growth of the private client department by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships..
• Maintain compliance with current legislation and professional standards at all times.

Requirements for a successful Private Client Solicitor

• Qualified Solicitor with several years’ post-qualification experience in private client law.
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently, from initial instruction to completion.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development and practice growth.
