Job Opportunity: Production Lead

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Lead to join our chemical manufacturing team. This role blends production expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure efficient operations and team success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate production activities to meet targets.
  • Operate and monitor equipment for production, drying, and packaging.
  • Execute batch processes while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Plan and prioritize team tasks to maintain schedules.
  • Allocate resources and provide guidance to team members.
  • Monitor production parameters and address issues proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments on scheduling and operations.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, equipment, and incidents.
  • Promote a safety-oriented and organized workspace.
  • Support training and development of team members.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Experience in chemical manufacturing or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with production equipment and batch processes.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in completing batch documentation and records.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Task prioritization and team coordination abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • Previous leadership experience as Senior Operator or Team Leader.
  • Background in fine chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • 3–5 years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Degree or qualification in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience in training or mentoring a team.
  • Knowledge of production planning or process improvements.
