Ready to take the lead on the shop floor?
We're looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join an established manufacturing business in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, improving production performance and being hands-on in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.
The Opportunity
As Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the production operation runs safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading, supporting and motivating the production team.
Planning and coordinating day-to-day production activities.
Ensuring production targets, deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
Monitoring workflow and resolving issues on the shop floor.
Supporting continuous improvement and process optimisation.
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed.
Conducting team briefings and toolbox talks.
Working closely with other departments to keep production running smoothly.
Providing hands-on support where required within the production environment.
What We're Looking For
We'd like to speak with candidates who have:
Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Team Leader or similar position.
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, assembly or fabrication environment.
Proven experience leading or supervising a shop-floor team.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
A good understanding of quality, health & safety and production processes.
A hands-on, proactive approach to leadership.
The confidence to make decisions and resolve production challenges.
