Job Title: Project Information Officer

Location: Warwick (Hybrid)

Contract: 6 months initial (strong likelihood of extension)

Location: Variable Base/Home Based with occasional travel to the Warwick office as required

Our client, a leading organisation engaged in multi billion-pound infrastructure projects, is seeking an experienced Project Information Officer to join their dynamic Project Services team. This exciting role supports the delivery of groundbreaking HVDC subsea links connecting Scotland and England, playing a critical part in the transition to renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Administer and maintain document control systems, ensuring all project documentation is accurately logged, filed, and easily retrievable.
  • Compliance Assurance: Guarantee that all documentation meets the standards, adhering to regulatory requirements, including CDM Health & Safety files.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to facilitate the seamless flow of information, ensuring stakeholders have access to the latest project documents.
  • Reporting: Manage key document registers, including RAMS and drawings, providing regular updates to the project team.
  • Quality Control: Conduct audits of document control processes to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement, confidently addressing non-compliance issues.
  • Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to project team members on document control procedures and systems.

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience: A minimum of three years in administering document control systems for complex projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT software applications, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and AutoDesk.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fostering collaboration within a team environment.
  • Safety Awareness: A solid understanding of health and safety in project delivery, recognising the significance of robust document control in supporting these principles.
