Project Manager - Interior Fit-Out & Refurbishment
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 DOE + Company Car or Car Allowance
Location: Surrey / South East – London, Reading, Milton Keynes & South Coast
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Some projects are about putting up walls and fitting out rooms. Others are about transforming how people learn, work and carry out important research.
We're recruiting a Project Manager to deliver the latter.
From modern science laboratories and university research facilities to specialist classrooms and commercial interiors, this is an opportunity to manage projects that genuinely make a difference to the people using them.
About the Company
Our client is an established British manufacturer and specialist interior fit-out contractor, designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke furniture and complete interiors for the education and commercial sectors.
Their projects range from school science laboratories, food technology and design & technology classrooms to commercial laboratories and full turnkey refurbishments.
With in-house design and manufacturing capabilities, they deliver projects from the first drawings through to installation and final handover.
The Role
As Project Manager, you'll take responsibility for delivering interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East, covering an area from Milton Keynes to the South Coast and west towards Reading.
You'll be the person bringing everything together, from the initial planning and coordination through to seeing the finished space handed over to the client.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing fit-out and refurbishment projects from start to finish
Coordinating subcontractors, installers and suppliers
Overseeing programmes, budgets, quality and site safety
Working closely with clients, designers and manufacturing teams
Ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and to specification
About You
We're looking for a Project Manager with a background in interior fit-out, refurbishment or specialist construction.
Experience delivering projects within schools, universities, laboratories or commercial interiors would be particularly relevant.
You'll need to be comfortable managing multiple moving parts, dealing directly with clients and taking responsibility for projects through to completion.
Why Join?
This isn't just another general construction role. You'll be working on specialist, design-led projects with the backing of an established business that handles everything from design and manufacturing through to the finished installation.
If you're an experienced Project Manager who enjoys seeing a project develop from an idea into a finished environment, this could be well worth a conversation.
