We're now looking for a Project Manager to join us and become an important part of the business, managing projects and developing strong, lasting relationships with our customers.

The role

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our office-based team and take responsibility for managing structured cabling and infrastructure projects from initial enquiry through to completion.

A large part of the role is about people and relationships. You'll be a key point of contact for our customers, so we're looking for someone who is approachable, organised and takes pride in providing a good level of service.

You'll work closely with our engineers, customers and suppliers to make sure projects are properly planned, communicated and delivered.

Responsibilities/requirements will include:

• Managing customer enquiries and ongoing projects
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Preparing quotations and project costs
• Planning and scheduling engineers
• Ordering materials and coordinating suppliers
• Reviewing drawings and customer requirements
• Coordinating works with customers and site contacts
• Keeping customers updated throughout their projects
• Monitoring project costs and progress
• Dealing with changes or issues as they arise
• Ensuring project documentation is completed
• Supporting projects through to completion and handover
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Confident using a PC and standard Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

About you

We're looking for someone who is dependable, personable and comfortable taking ownership of their work.

You don't need to be someone who thrives on constant pressure. We'd much rather find someone who is organised, consistent and good with people.

Ideally, you'll have experience in project management within structured cabling, telecommunications or a similar technical industry.

You'll be someone who can communicate confidently with customers, engineers and suppliers and who understands the importance of following things through rather than letting enquiries or actions go unanswered.
