Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
• EARLY FINISH FRIDAY: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Are you an organised Administrator looking for your next opportunity?

We're currently recruiting for a full-time Administrator to join an established business based in the Oldbury area on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a client we've had the pleasure of working with for some time, and we're looking for an organised, proactive and reliable individual to become a valued part of their team.

If you have previous experience within administration, purchasing, procurement or order processing, we'd particularly love to hear from you. However, purchasing experience is not essential, and we're equally interested in candidates with a strong administrative background and the right attitude to learn!

What will you be doing?

Working as part of the wider team, you'll provide essential administrative support and help ensure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly.

• Providing general administrative support across the business
• Processing and raising purchase orders
• Supporting with purchasing and procurement-related administration
• Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and availability
• Monitoring orders and following up on outstanding items
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
• Processing documentation and ensuring information is kept up to date
• Responding to telephone and email enquiries
• Working closely with colleagues across different departments
• Supporting the wider team with additional administrative duties when required

What are we looking for?

• Experienced within an administrative environment
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office and general computer systems
• Comfortable communicating with colleagues and external suppliers
• Able to prioritise their workload and manage multiple tasks
• Proactive, reliable and willing to learn
• A genuine team player who is happy to get involved and support where needed

Previous purchasing, procurement or purchase order experience would be a fantastic advantage, but it is not essential.

Above all, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude who wants to become part of the team and develop within the role.

This is a fully onsite position in Oldbury, so candidates will need to be able to travel to the workplace reliably each day.
