Lodestone Recruitment are currently working with a well-established, rapidly growing manufacturing company, whoa re looking for a skilled quality engineer to join their team. They are a company with a great reputation for looking after their staff, putting them at the heart of everything they do.

The role

• Inspect incoming components against drawings and specs, including dimensional checks and cert verification.
• Manage non-conformances, including NCRs, containment and disposition.
• Lead root cause investigations (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and corrective actions.
• Be the main quality contact for the OEM customer and key suppliers.
• Maintain the ISO 9001 QMS, traceability, calibration and audit activity.
• Help set up quality processes for a new facility and drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Need

• Previous experience as a quality engineer (or similar) in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and confidence with inspection equipment.
• Hands-on NCR, root cause and corrective action experience.
• ISO 9001 background.
• Organised, detail-focused individual.
