Job Description:

Wiltech Acoustics — now proudly part of Rehlko (formerly Kohler Energy) — is entering an exciting phase of growth and investment. Now integrated into Rehlko’s global energy-resilience group, Wiltech continues to build on its reputation as a leading UK specialist in acoustic canopies, generator enclosures, and industrial noise-control engineering.

Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Joining Wiltech now means becoming part of a strengthened, well-funded and expanding organisation, with new opportunities created through the Rehlko transition.

As a hands-on leader, you will ensure that quality is embedded across all functions, from shopfloor operations to support teams.

Responsibilities:

Quality Performance Management

· Implement robust action plans to achieve and exceed quality targets.

Quality Management System

· Deploy and maintain the Quality Management System in line with applicable standards (ISO 9001).

· Ensure compliance with regulatory and metallurgical product requirements.

· Lead internal and external audits.

Quality Culture & Continuous Improvement

· Promote a strong quality culture across production and support teams.

· Train and coach employees on quality tools (5M, FMEA, 8D, etc.).

Root Cause Analysis

· Lead root cause analysis (RCA) to address internal and external non-conformities.

· Ensure implementation of effective and sustainable corrective actions.

Customer & Supplier Quality

· Manage customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

· Drive supplier quality performance in collaboration with procurement (assessments, audits, improvement plans).

Cross-functional Collaboration

· Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams.

· Act as the quality reference across all internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting & Governance

· Develop and maintain quality dashboards and performance reports.

· Provide clear visibility of quality performance to senior management.

Profile:

Experience

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial quality, ideally within metallurgy or metal processing (machining, casting, fabrication, etc.).

· Strong exposure to manufacturing environments.

Skills

· Solid knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.

· Good understanding of industrial quality standards and regulations.

· Project management and change management capabilities.

Leadership

· Ability to influence and engage teams on the shopfloor.

· Strong analytical mindset and results-driven approach.
