About the Role

Help children build a happy, confident start to school. Teach Now is seeking a Reception Teacher to join a supportive primary setting in Havering, creating a welcoming classroom where children aged four and five can learn, explore and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and assess progress, adapting activities and provision to meet individual needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom and work with families and colleagues to support each child.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and early years teaching experience, including relevant training placements.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, child development and early phonics.
  • Confidence in planning, assessment and adapting learning for different abilities and needs.
  • A warm, patient approach, clear communication and a commitment to safeguarding.
  • The right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
