Recovery Coordinator – Drug and Alcohol Service

Location: Carlise, Cumbria

Pay: £20.00 – £23.00 p/h (depending on experience)

Contract: 3–6 months (with extension options)

We're looking for a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to join a tight-knit team in Barrow-in-Furness. You'll provide essential guidance and structure for individuals working hard to turn their lives around.

• What you'll do:

  • Handle day-to-day caseload management and routine risk assessments.

  • Oversee Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST) coordination alongside clinical prescribers.

  • Deliver robust harm reduction guidance to minimize drug-related risks.

  • Perform Blood Borne Virus (BBV) checks and targeted Hepatitis C testing to support local health initiatives.

  • Provide individual alcohol therapies and structured relapse prevention planning.

  • Work directly with local health and social care services.

• What you need: Relevant background in support work, enhanced DBS check, and Right to Work in the UK.
