 £80,000 | Full‑time, flexible hours

The Role

This is a rare opportunity for a Dual Registered Manager to open and lead two brand‑new children’s homes in Littleover, Derby. As Dual Registered Manager, you will register both homes with Ofsted and shape high‑quality services supporting young people with EBD (open to LD specialism).

TheDual Registered Manager role offers real trust and flexibility, backed by supportive and accessible senior leadership. You’ll have full ownership to build strong teams, consistent care, and a child‑centred culture from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Register and manage two children’s homes with Ofsted
• Lead, mentor, and retain stable staff teams
• Deliver safe, nurturing environments for young people with EBD and LD
• Maintain outstanding safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards
• Work closely with families, social workers, and professionals
• Embed a positive, values‑led culture across both children’s homes

About You

This role suits an experienced Registered Manager who wants to make a genuine impact in children’s homes.

Essential

Previous experience holding an Ofsted registration

Background in EBD, LD, or children’s residential care

Desirable

• Good or Outstanding Ofsted history
• Experience opening and registering new children’s homes
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
• Warm, people‑focused leadership style
