Rent Income Officer

3-month temporary contract

Fully office based in Tower Hamlets area

£17-19 Paye per hour

Our client a small housing association is looking for an Experienced Rent Officer to work with their Housing Team. You will focus on high level rent arrears cases including court attendance. You will also:

• Effectively manage and take action on persistent and high-value rent arrears.
• Prepare rent cases for court, including application, particulars of claim, attend court for possession orders.
• Effectively set up, monitor and take action on payment plans.
• Manage a set caseload of arrears.
• Pro-actively work with Housing Benefit and Universal Credit to secure payments.
• Required to work directly with tenants including home visits.
• Contact hard to reach tenants after hours by telephone.
• Able to work independently and manage
• Required to provide management reports on case progress and milestones.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
