Location: Lackham

Salary: £13.12 per hour plus holiday pay

Based at our beautiful Lackham Campus, set within 500 acres of Wiltshire countryside, you'll join our residential team and help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for students living on campus.

What You'll Do

  • Provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for residential students
  • Supervise accommodation areas and promote positive behaviour
  • Support student wellbeing and pastoral needs
  • Respond appropriately to incidents and safeguarding concerns
  • Carry out regular checks of residential areas
  • Encourage students to develop independence and life skills
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and relevant activities
  • Work with safeguarding, pastoral, and wider College teams
  • Follow College procedures relating to safeguarding, health and safety and student welfare

What You'll Bring

  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Experience in a residential, youth work, education, care, hospitality, security, or people-focused environment
  • An understanding of safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A calm and consistent approach when dealing with challenging situations
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
