Join one of the UK's longest-established children's charities, with over 150 years of supporting children, young people and families. Our mission has always been simple - to ensure every child has the opportunity to feel safe, valued and reach their full potential. We're looking for compassionate and committed Residential Children & Young Peoples Workers for our service that supports children and young people aged 8-18 who are at risk of exploitation. We focus on identifying and responding to harm and abuse occurring outside the home, while providing a safe, nurturing environment where up to three young people can build friendships, grow in confidence, and develop essential life skills.

What you'll be doing. Every day brings something different. You'll:
✨ Build trusting, nurturing relationships that promote independence and well-being.
✨ Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals.
✨ Support the upkeep of the home, including domestic tasks.
✨ Accurately document and maintain records.
✨ Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
✨ Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment overnight.

We're looking for someone who:
Is a driver.
Holds (or is willing to work towards) a Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
Be motivated to make a positive impact in young people's lives.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Be willing to attend mandatory training, group supervision, and consultation sessions during daytime hours (with advance notice).
Previous experience working with children and young people is desirable, but not essential - we welcome applicants with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
Is flexible to work shifts, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays.

Why join us:

❤️ Health Cash Plan & Employee Assistance Programme
🛍️ Discounts at hundreds of retailers, supermarkets, cinemas and gyms
