About the role

I'm looking for a Sales & Data Administrator to join our team in Leicester. It's not a support role, it's a role with real ownership from day one.

A few things sit right at the heart of how we work here: winning back customers we've lost touch with, growing our key accounts, and turning market knowledge into real leads. None of that runs without someone holding it together. That's this job.

What you'll be doing

• Keeping on top of our account reviews, so nothing slips through the cracks
• Owning our CRM day to day, keeping client and prospect information accurate and up to date
• Leading a project to re engage accounts that have gone quiet, building lists, tracking outreach, and passing warm responses over to the sales team
• Building a clear picture of what's happening in our market
• Making sure hot leads from our campaigns get followed up quickly, not left to go cold
• Putting together regular reporting for our senior team
• Supporting me directly with diary management, meeting prep, proposals and sales materials
• Helping coordinate events and supporting the team with client onboarding admin

What we're looking for

You'll need:

• Solid administrative or coordinator experience, ideally somewhere fast paced, in recruitment or B2B sales
• Great organisation skills, and the confidence to juggle a few live workstreams against fixed deadlines
• The confidence to speak up, including to people more senior than you, if something hasn't happened yet
• Comfort with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, and a willingness to pick up new platforms
• Clear, professional written communication
• An eye for detail, especially when it comes to data accuracy
• Discretion with sensitive commercial information

It's a bonus if you have:

• Experience in recruitment, staffing, warehousing or logistics
• Some exposure to LinkedIn Sales Navigator or B2B social selling
• Experience supporting board level or management reporting
• Excel skills beyond the basics, think lookups and pivot tables
• An interest in eventually moving into sales, business development or a commercial analyst role

You don't need years of admin experience to apply. What matters more to me is drive, communication, and the instinct to bring order to a mess without being asked. If you've worked in recruitment before and know why clean data and a well kept pipeline actually matter, that counts for a lot.

Where this can lead

There's a genuine route from here into business development or commercial analysis, for the right person. This isn't a placeholder role. It's a start.
