Job Description:

Position: Sales Advisor/Sales Manager
Location: South Leicester
Hourly rate: £13.00 to £16.50 dependent on experience
Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm and 2- 3 Saturdays p/m, 10.00am to 4.00pm with time back in lieu

Based in Leicester, my client is a family-owned company with more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector. They specialise in a wide range of mobility solutions designed to support comfort, independence, and everyday living, including mobility scooters, wheelchairs, rise and recliner chairs and more.

They are currently recruiting a Sales Advisor / Sales Manager and the successful candidate will help customers choose the right products by providing knowledgeable advice and friendly support. This role is key to helping us deliver on our aim of improving independence and quality of life for our customers. This is a rewarding job where you will make a real difference to people’s lives. 

Industry experience is not essential as full training will be given.  What my client is looking for is a consultative sales person that can build relationships quickly, show empathy and learn effectively.

Responsibilities for a Sales Advisor/ Sales Manager in South Leicester

• Help customers choose the right products that best suit their individual needs
• Deliver outstanding customer service in-store and during home visits
• Keep up to date with our product range to provide clear, accurate advice
• Assist with delivering and setting up mobility equipment in customers’ homes
• Follow all health and safety procedures during customer visits and interactions
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and a positive customer experience

Skills and experience needed for a Sales Advisor/ Sales Manager in South Leicester:

• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales, ideally within the healthcare sector
• Strong communication skills and a warm, professional approach
• Confidence in demonstrating products and explaining technical information in a simple way
• A full driving licence is desirable for carrying out home visits
• Good problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail
• Able to work well on your own as well as part of a team
