£27,000-£30,000
Monday- Friday 7.30-16.30

We're working with a well-established and growing distributor in the flooring and interiors sector who is looking for a friendly, proactive Sales Assistant to join their team.

This is more than just a counter role — you'll be at the heart of the business, speaking with customers, handling enquiries, and helping drive sales in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and the trade counter
• Respond to enquiries, process orders, and prepare quotes
• Offer product advice and recommend the best solutions
• Build strong relationships with trade customers and repeat clients
• Support with upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Keep customers updated on orders, delays, and deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented trade counter
• Work towards individual and team sales targets

What We're Looking For

• Experience in retail, trade counter, or customer service
• Confident communicator with a friendly, can-do attitude
• Someone who enjoys speaking to people and solving problems
• Basic IT skills (email, Office 365, order systems)
• Sales experience is a bonus — but attitude is everything
• Willingness to learn about products and build industry knowledge
